This is a RFT (full-time) position located at the General Smalls Inn on Joint Base Langley-Eustis VA - Ft Eustis location. Position is guaranteed 35 hours per week. This position may be subject to holidays, nights, weekends and on-call work.Duties
Responsible for leading the work of Lodging Guest Services Representatives assigned to the Lodging operation. As a working leader. performs the following duties: Distributes and balances workload among employees. Observes work in progress, production, adherence to quality and safety standards. Instructs and trains new employees. Elevates unresolved employee complaints to supervisor. Provides input on performance, progress, and disciplinary problems. Reports all repair and maintenance requirements according to established policy. Reports all violations of safety to immediate supervisor. Updates automated data base on occupancy and checkouts. Ensures adequate stock supplies and equipment are available to do the work.
As time permits, performs non-lead duties as lodging guest services representative. Receive guests, checks lodging and receipt slips; registers guests and assigns rooms; receives and distributes mail; furnishes information to guests on available facilities and activities; places calls; coordinates changes with supervisor requiring implementation by lodging guest services representatives; collects and consolidates information for status reports, prepares reports, collects money and prepares or oversees the maintenance records.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifying Experience:
Progressively responsible experience in clerical or office work of any kind in which the applicant demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position. Experience which demonstrates the applicant's ability to lead the work of others is desirable. Subject to satisfactory completion of National Agency Check. Must be able to read, speak, and write English. Must meet state and legal age requirement for sale of alcoholic beverages.
