Job Summary

This is for the position of a Senior Technical person who will have responsibilities to manage Infrastructure & regular activities like deployment, management & maintenance of applications used for HW Design data management. These applications include tools used for Product lifecycle management, HW design workspace management, configuration management & quality management. The candidate should have an ability to grasp new technologies quickly and work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Regular management & maintenance of Application Infrastructure.
• Regular pro-active monitoring of Application Infrastructure.
• Release deployment of application changes to different application environments.
• Regularly participate and suggest configurations updates to improve performance.
• Help support regular patching activities.
• Identify opportunities for automation wherever possible.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 8+ years of relevant technical experience is must.
• Good experience with Linux is must.
• Good experience of managing Web Servers (Apache, Tomcat) is must.
• Knowledge of Version control system (SVN, GIT) is must.
• Experience working on AWS is must.
• Experience working with Apache load balancer implementation, SSL, LDAP, SMTP will be a plus.
• Experience of Database and scripting languages (Shell script, PERL, PHP) will be a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving , logical & debugging skills is must.
• Must possess excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience with customer-oriented support, being pro-active.
• Used to working in global environment and also should be adaptable to learn new skills and follow industry trends.
