      As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase, you apply deep knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. Continue to evolve your technical and cross-functional knowledge outside of your aligned domain of expertise.

      Job responsibilities

      • Applies technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope
      • Drives a workstream or project consisting of one or more infrastructure engineering technologies
      • Works with other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize the organization and its technology processes
      • Executes creative solutions for the design, development, and technical troubleshooting for problems of moderate complexity
      • Strongly considers upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications and advises on mitigation actions
      • Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

      Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

      • Deep knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments with 12+ years of Oracle DBA Experience with strong understanding of databases and oracle engineered systems like Exadata, ZFS and ZDLRA
      • Expert experience administering various multi-Terabyte, 24x7 uptime Oracle databases as a Systems/Infrastructure Database Administrator is required
      • Hands on patching experience with Exadata and ZDLRA is required.
      • Strong experience working with Oracle versions 11gR1/2, 12c and 19c in a Linux environment
      • Experience with Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance is a plus
      • Strong, proven Oracle Database Performance Diagnostic skills (at both the SQL and system levels)
      • Experience with features such as Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Automatic Storage Management (ASM), Active Data Guard, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and Golden Gate replication
      • Experience with Backup and Recovery using Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN)

      Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

      • Demonstrated ability to drive Agile development and implement automated process to improve database system reliability
      • Experience with audit and compliance is highly desired.
      • Experience architecting, supporting and implementing advanced, strategic database management system and Exadata knowledge is preferred.
      • Proficient development skills in a dynamic programming language such as Python, JavaScript, .NET, Perl, PL/SQL, UNIX Shell Scripting. Also experience with Microservices is desirable
