Job summary

As a Site Reliability Engineer at JPMorgan Chase with GTI, you will solve complex and broad business problems with simple and straightforward solutions. Through code and cloud infrastructure, you will configure, maintain, monitor, and optimize applications and their associated infrastructure to independently decompose and iteratively improve on existing solutions. You are a significant contributor to your team by sharing your knowledge of end-to-end operations, availability, reliability, and scalability of your application or platform.

Job responsibilities

• Manage large-scale upgrades, maintenance and configuration of SCCM infrastructure
• Install, configure, test and maintain SCCM OSD, application software, compliance baselines and Windows patch management
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity to determine compliance requirements for patching
• Works with other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize the organization and its technology processes
• Executes work according to compliance standards, risk and security, and business objectives
• Considers upstream/downstream system or technical implications and advises on mitigation actions. Must be able to drive L3 incident, day to day escalations, service, problem with SRE for Endpoint Management
• Understands service level indicators and utilizes service level objectives to proactively resolve issues before they impact customers, Supports the adoption of site reliability engineering best practices within your team

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Proficient in site reliability culture and principles and familiarity with how to implement site reliability within an application or platform.
• Knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments
• 10+ years of applied experience with experience in SCCM disaster recovery planning and testing
• Experience in setting up, operating, tuning and troubleshooting MS SQL
• Ability to read and analyze SQL queries, along with developing stored procedures
• Experience with Agile Development and Continuous Integration. Proficiency with automation via Power Shell
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft SSRS and IIS

• Hybrid Cloud with AWS/Azure experience preferred
• SCCM SSRS Reporting experience preferred
• PKI and PCI DSS, Microsoft Intune experience preferred
