- Design and develop classroom and virtual learning programs that support employee training, performance, and development.
- Apply instructional design principles to develop engaging, effective, and scalable learning experiences.
- Leverage learning technology platforms to enhance accessibility and learner experience.
- Serve as a thought partner on learning strategy—advising stakeholders on best practices in instructional design, learning measurement, and experience design.
- Partner within POD and across the HR COEs to assess development needs, source solutions, collect feedback and evolve learning and development program offerings.
- Train facilitators and other stakeholders to effectively deliver or utilize the materials created.
- Identify learning solutions that address capability gaps and align with leadership expectations and strategic goals
- Ensure all learning content meets brand guidelines and quality standards.
- Stay current on learning trends, technologies, and innovations to continuously elevate learning solutions.
- Bachelor's degree or 6+ years of equivalent experience required
- 4+ years of work experience required
- 2+ years business-facing HR, HR COE, HR Operations, or role-related experience
- Advanced knowledge of Articulate Rise for developing interactive learning modules
- Proficient in graphic design and video editing using Adobe Creative Suite and Camtasia
- Preference for candidates located near a Stryker location

As a Lead Instructional Designer for our People and Organizational Development (POD) team, you will take the lead in designing innovative, user-focused training programs that build manager capability and drive impact across the organization. Using tools like Articulate Rise and Adobe Creative Suite, you’ll develop engaging, scalable learning experiences across classroom and virtual platforms. You’ll collaborate with HR partners to assess needs, shape strategy, and continuously evolve our learning offerings. Your work will ensure every program is accessible, aligned with business goals, and grounded in the latest learning trends.

Preferred Qualifications
$77,200-148,400 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
