      Creative Assembly is looking for a u00A0Lead Lighting Artist to join our talented team to work on our new project, a sequel to Alien: Isolation.u00A0

      This role will be based at our studio in Horsham, UK and can be offered as hybrid and has an expectation of 2u00A0daysu00A0peru00A0weeku00A0inu00A0ouru00A0Horshamu00A0studio. Further details can be discussed during the recruitment process.

      As a Lead Lighting Artist on the team, you will be responsible for creating balanced and atmospheric lighting for in-game environments that enhances atmosphere, visual storytelling and gameplay experience. u00A0

      On a day-to-day basis, you will:u00A0
      • Work closely with Art Director to define and execute lighting direction for the project.u00A0
      • Maintain lighting and post-process pipeline, balancing artistic vision with technical constrains. u00A0
      • Manage lighting team providing mentorship, feedback and supportu00A0
      • Collaborate with rendering engineers identifying lighting requirements and overseeing their implementation.u00A0
      • Work with design and environment teams to ensure lighting delivers the best player experienceu00A0
      • Optimise lighting and ensure it meets performance budgetsu00A0
      • Communicate well, with all disciplines, and be well organised.u00A0

      Knowledge, Skills and Experience u00A0
      Essentialu00A0
      • 5+ years of experience in lighting for video gamesu00A0
      • Keen artistic eye with attention to detail, combined with an understanding of colour theory, composition, and visual storytelling.u00A0
      • Working knowledge of modern lighting techniquesu00A0
      • Strong awareness of industry technology trendsu00A0
      • Excellent interpersonal skillsu00A0
