- Performs evaluations and re-evaluations according to standards and recommended techniques. Establishes implements and adapts an individualized treatment plan of care (including appropriate goal setting, treatment activities and frequency). Discharges patients when maximum benefit has been achieved and/or according to standards of practice and payor guidelines.
- Charges patients accurately and timely according to insurance guidelines.
- Provides appropriate documentation of all proceedings to ensure program quality and meet hospital and department standards. Also records additional pertinent information such as medical history in notes and other appropriate forms at time of occurrence.
- Maintains area specific productivity standards and when available market the massage program in the hospital, the community and medical personnel as indicated.
- Complies with AH Compliance Plan, rules and regulations of all local, state, and federal agencies, and with the standards of all accrediting bodies and payors as evident through documentation reviews, tracers and rounds results.
- Train, supervise, and mentor massage therapists, ensuring they adhere to quality standards and protocols.
- Licensed in in the State of Florida as a Massage Therapist
- Basic Life Support Certification required
- 3+ years of providing massage therapy in a licensed environment
- 5+ years’ experience in medical massage, deep tissue massage, chair massage
- 3+ years leadership experience -PREFERRED

Shift: Clinic hours are Monday-Friday Hours may vary based on clinic need.
Location: 265 E Rollins St. Orlando, FL will travel to other clinics as needed
The role you’ll contribute:
Leads the Massage Team with positive influence and by example while providing massage therapy in the outpatient rehabilitation setting. Assists Medical Wellness Manager with clinical interviews, orientation of new hires, rounding with employees, physicians, clients and patients, completion of staff annual competencies and development of staff in areas of continuing education, mentoring and documentation. Promotes evidence-based standards of care through collaborative participation in journal reviews, teaching/mentoring, and/or peer education.
