      Job Summary:

      We are currently seeking a Full-Time Lead Medical Office Specialist for our Menifee location. This position is responsible for overseeing the overall functions of the medical office. Duties include but not limited to:

      • Perform front-office duties as needed, including patient registration, and data entry.
      • Oversee daily front office operations to ensure efficient patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, and communication.
      • Serve as the primary point of contact for front office staff for operational questions, guidance, and issue resolution.
      • Train and onboard new front office team members; provide ongoing training and support to current staff.
      • Monitor performance and adherence to policies, procedures, and service standards; provide feedback and coaching as needed.
      • Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and ensure compliance with clinic policies and healthcare regulations.
      • Assist with patient concerns and help resolve front-desk related issues in a professional and timely manner.
      • Maintain knowledge of current software systems, insurance verification procedures, and billing basics.

      Qualifications

      Experience/Training/Education:

      • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
      • Minimum three years experience as a Medical Assistant or Medical Office Specialist required.
      • At least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role, preferred.
      • Familiarity with medical terminology required.
      • Experience with patient check-in and check-out process (according to clinic protocol).
      • Completion of an accredited Medical Office Assistant/Specialist program or Medical Assistant program preferred.

      Certifications/Licenses:

      • Current BLS/CPR certification required.
