Job Description

- Design and implement network solutions to meet cross-functional business requirements.
- Manage and maintain (Cisco/Meraki) network infrastructure, including wireless access points, routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Advise a team of network engineers, providing technical guidance and oversight.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network solutions with other systems.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
- High proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Superior troubleshooting and investigatory skills with a strong sense of urgency in high-profile outage situations.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco IOS, NXOS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VXLAN, FCOE and FC environments
- Ability to implement & deliver complex technical projects within a defined schedule covering LAN, WAN, Wireless, 4/5G, SD-WAN, VPNs, NAC, and Zero Trust
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Meraki, and other core networking hardware.
- Expertise in network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in network performance tuning and optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent documentation and technical writing skills.
- Experience with network security technologies and best practices.
