  Overview

  The Lead Engineer – Network will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing CareCentrix’s data networking infrastructure. This individual will guide a team of network engineers, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the data networking environment. The Lead Engineer – Network will also be responsible for driving innovation in network technologies and supporting the organization's strategic objectives.

  Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the overall data networking architecture, ensuring it aligns with the organization's goals and future growth.
  • Plan and implement network upgrades and expansions, keeping abreast of emerging technologies.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the data networking infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Monitor network performance and ensure optimal uptime, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly.
  • Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Evaluate network capacity and bandwidth requirements, planning for future growth and scaling as needed.
  • Optimize network performance and efficiency.
  • Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and SOPs.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to data networking.
  • Identify opportunities for technology improvements and make recommendations for implementation.

  Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.• Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.• 10+ years experience in data networking design, implementation, and management.• Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols including but not limited to:

  o Local and Wide area networks (Cisco, MPLS,DMVPN GRE)o Global and Local Load Balancers (F5/Cisco)o ISP/Co-Location Providerso Web Application Firewalls, F5 and Imperva a pluso Network security (Cisco, Palo Alto, ClearPass)o DNS infrastructureo Monitoring tools: Riverbed, Solarwinds, Splunk, Gangliao Superior problem-resolution skillso Routing protocols: BGP, EIGRP, OSPF

  •In-depth knowledge of network best practices and network security.

  • Mentorship and leadership skills.• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Please Note: Candidates who advance to the final interview stage may be asked to participate in an in-person interview. Travel expenses will be covered
  • This role is remote but may require occasional on-site attendance for meetings in one of our facilities in Tampa, Hartford or Overland Park, KS. If chosen for a final interview, an on-site interview may be required.

  • Pay Range: $145000 - $155000 / (year or hour) plus corporate bonus incentive OR if set pay Starting Pay for external hires is XX.XX / hour + Monthly Incentive
