      Reporting to the Health & Safety Superintendent you will be part of the Health & Safety Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

      • Develops a preventative health environment ensuring compliance with all policies, legislation and regulations affecting health and medical requirements;
      • Establishes a calendar of events and scheduled prevention education fitting operational and seasonal risks;
      • Professionally treats and supports workers with any first aid or associated conditions that supports best prognosis for conditions;
      • Collaborates and liaises with the Human Resources team & the Health, Safety and Training team to monitor, participate, assess and consult on safety issues as required;
      • Refers workers to further treatment after advising management first where applicable;
      • Supports WSIB case management claims;
      • Supervise Occupational Health Nurses at site, managing performance and identifying training and development opportunities;
      • Other duties as directed.
      !*!
      • Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario;
      • Previous experience in an industrial setting is considered an asset;
      • Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

      Your Work Schedule:

      • Schedule: 4/3 or 5/2 schedule at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON.
