- Work with the scenario champion to identify participants, develop starter scenarios, develop a data pack, prepare a workshop deck, and train participants who are new to the scenario analysis process.
- Facilitate workshop meetings with anywhere from 10 to 30 subject matter experts. Promote active engagement and challenge, while managing bias and working with participants to reach consensus and deliver robust results with well-supported rationale.
- Facilitate meetings between workshops and conduct research to establish underlying assumptions, develop strawman scenario estimates, and work with SMEs to drive out other actions that make for efficient and effective workshops.
- Package workshop results in a summary deck and distribute to participants. Consolidate feedback and work with scenario champion to affirm results.
- Work with scenario champion to present results to governance for review, challenge, and approval. Finalize nine-quarter pathing and selection of severity estimate associated with the scenario for use in stress testing.
- Ensure that all artifacts supporting end-to-end execution of the scenario are posted to SharePoint and distributed for use by other risk management programs.
- Support execution and continuous enhancement of the GSA program, which is comprised of Enterprise Scenario Analysis (ESA), Business Level Scenario Analysis (BLSA), and International Scenario Analysis (ISA) through activities such as
- Update procedures, controls, templates, job aides, and training materials across GSA to promote efficient, effective, well-controlled, and consistent execution.
- Improve use of data and assessments across multiple sources to inform scenario analysis workshops while automating production of data packs.
- Enhance integration between GSA and other risk programs such as Stress Testing, Capital, ERIA, and RCSA.
- Provide oversight, feedback, advice, and support to BLSA and ISA scenario coordinators to help ensure that their scenario results are robust, well-supported, and appropriately cross-calibrated.
- Support other ESA scenario coordinators with facilitation of their workshops by taking on roles such as co-facilitation and whiteboarding.
- Identify and sharing best practices across the GSA program and being an active participant in the Scenario Analysis Community of Practice.
- Support independent reviews of scenario analysis by such parties as Operational Risk Assurance, Internal Audit, and regulators from the OCC and FRB.
- 5+ years of Operational Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Proven experience in building partnerships, collaborating and influencing at senior levels and across lines of business as well as with corporate partners
- Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner to audiences at various levels.
- Ability to analyze information with a high attention to detail and accuracy
- Intellectual curiosity with the desire to continuously learn, g row and work within operational risk management
- Experience using Analytical skills to review risk data, identify trends and be able to tell the story.
- Experience with Project management related skills to facilitate and manage meetings, workshops, trainings and or multiple like priorities at one time.
- Demonstratable experience scenario analysis or stress testing.
- Ability to work at one of the approved posting locations on a hybrid schedule; Preferred location(s) listed.
