- New account opening and account maintenance for KBCM Institutional Fixed Income and Equity business.
- Review and update DTC and Fed delivery instructions on DVP/RVP accounts.
- Review and code client paperwork.
- Work daily reports accurately and timely.
- Monitor prime broker accounts to ensure all required paperwork is received.
- Manage the distribution of annual customer mailings.
- Work closely with KBCM Compliance on regulatory requests.
- Document and maintain desktop procedures.
- Provide project support duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Brokerage Operations environment or within banking.
- Strong professional written and verbal communication.
- Ability to prioritize workloads and issues while working independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate detail orientation, precision, and exactness.
- Comprehensive understanding of risks and controls.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable individual with the ability to handle changing priorities to support the team as needed.
- Institute continuous improvement approaches where appropriate; assess processes and make recommendations for workflow improvement.
- Exhibit a proactive nature and approach to learning, problem identification, and resolution.
- Demonstrates initiative by proactively generating solution options before escalating issues to management.

Provide back-office support across multiple functions in the day-to-day operations of KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc (KBCM). Position involves working with the line of business, compliance, and other back-office teams within Key.

The person selected for this position will need availability to work until 6:00 p.m. EST. The person will work 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. EST 2 to 3 days per week to process end of day trade allocations.
Key has implemented a role-based Mobile by Design approach to our employee workspaces, dedicating space to those whose roles require specific workspaces, while providing flexible options for roles which are less dependent on assigned workspaces and can be performed effectively in a mobile environment. As a result, this role may be mobile or home based, which means you may work either at a home office or in a Key facility to perform your job duties. Person selected for the position depending on location may work partially on-site (minimum of two days a week at this time) from an office location. Management will determine and advise on in office work expectations.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $56,000.00 to $70,000.00 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
