      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Schedule patient appointments for various services, ensuring accurate demographic and insurance information is obtained and verified
      - Register patients and enter data into the scheduling system while meeting individual quality metrics
      - Serve as a Patient Access resource and take on leadership responsibilities in the absence of a Manager/Supervisor
      - Assist in supporting departmental initiatives and participate in go-lives
      - Provide professional, compassionate, and friendly service to patients, families, and community members

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of 2 years of Patient Access experience for internal staff
      - Must meet/exceed BHSF registration accuracy and productivity standards for at least the most recent 12 months
      - Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and perform basic mathematical calculations
      - Detail-oriented with excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
      - Knowledge of healthcare regulatory guidelines, including HIPAA, AHCA, EMTALA, and Medicare coverage structure

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Associate's Degree preferred, along with 2 years of Patient Access experience, or 3 years of Patient Access/Leadership experience in lieu of a degree
      - Bilingual in English and Spanish/Creole
      - Familiarity with insurance contracts and scheduling guidelines/protocols
      - Experience with Microsoft Office products and EMR applications
      - Knowledge of medical terminology
