REQUIRED
- Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Three (3) years of health system pharmacy experience OR advanced pharmacy role from an outside institution OR a minimum of one year as a Pharmacy Technician IV at Northside Hospital
- Must have current certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
- Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician or pharmacy training program.

Responsibilities
The Lead Pharmacy Technician will be based in the Emergency Department, performing patient medication histories/reconciliation. Primary job responsibility include verbal communications with patients, family members, health care providers and retail pharmacies. Additional requirements include entry of medication history into electronic chart (Cerner), coverage of other pharmacy areas and education/training of other pharmacy staff. Candidates must possess pharmacy technician certification, strong knowledge of chronic medications, excellent written and verbal communication skills and proof of high service excellence behaviors.
The Lead Pharmacy Tech will be working a 7on/7off schedule, 12:00p - 10:30p.
