Job Description
- Req#: 53299
- Manage framework contract planning, historical contract metric analysis and strategic vendor engagement to ensure the five-year electric capital construction workplan assigned to contracted resources is effectively delivered.
- Foster strategic relationships with external vendor leadership
- Engage internal stakeholder leadership including but not limited to Construction, Project/Program Management, Procurement, Engineering, Safety and Emergency Planning
- Coordinate cross-functional internal stakeholders in prioritizing and effectively executing deliverables
- Initiate and lead process improvements and efficient ways of working
- Support the New England External Line Resource Unit during weather events
- Foster a collaborative environment focused on achieving outcomes and building relationships, both internally and externally to execute tasks and projects.
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- 3+ years of experience in contracts, construction management, project management or engineering within the electric utility industry preferred
- 3+ years of experience leading teams in a matrix environment preferred
- 3+ years of experience making presentations to upper management preferred
- 3+ years of experience in Ariba Buying Guide preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Power BI, MS Teams, Excel, Power Point, Word, SharePoint
- Valid driver’s license required

The New England Electric Contracts and Commercial team manages, supports and monitors contracts and contractual relationships for outsourced complex and non-complex electric construction contracts for National Grid.

$121,000 - $142,000 a year
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
