Lead engineers, associate engineers, and technicians in the expansion, development, deployment, and sustainment of manufacturing processes.
Mentor ing and coach ing other engineers and technicians.
Assist management in developing and driving the execution of operational and strategic objectives.
Drive high quality and efficiency in the manufacturing processes, operations and tools.
Manages or prepares documentation, including experiments, component and equipment qualifications, assembly materials qualifications, etc.
Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
Understand. Create. Simplify.
Other duties as assigned.
B.S. Degree or equivalent
3-5 years experience in electronic manufacturing processes and surface mount technology and equipment
Leadership and communication skills
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test result(s)

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Process Engineer to join our team in Pullman, Washington.
This role will focus on supporting and optimizing through-hole soldering processes, including Wave Solder and Selective Solder technologies.
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and data-driven professional with a strong commitment to excellence in customer service. In addition to technical expertise, this position requires demonstrated leadership capabilities, as it involves mentoring and guiding a team of engineers and technicians to achieve operational and quality objectives.

Salary Range Data:
We anticipate filling this position as a Lead Process Engineer: $ 79.4 00 - $1 24,0 00 per year. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
