- Oversees daily operations of Special Events and Promotions programs.
- Assists management with strategy for special events programs.
- Directs staff while handling all administrative duties including schedules, payroll, coding requests, offsite events and expense reports.
- Under direction of the Special Events Director, the coordinator is assigned a specific schedule of casino related special events which include player parties, balls, dinner parties, show parties, and tournaments.
- Works with other departments to prepare for special events.
- Maintains a direct mailing program for casino patrons to inform them of special events and other relevant information.
- For assigned events, coordinator is responsible for maintaining expenses within approved proforma guidelines and coordinating all aspects of events including concept/event development, proforma preparation, advertising requirements, direct mail, catering, entertainment, submission, and licenses of permits (if applicable), R.S.V.P. procedures, space/room block, welcome letters, event staffing, and property wide event announcement to management and employees.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma required with BA/BS degree preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years experience in special event coordination.
- Casino special event experience preferred.
- Must be knowledgeable of casino operations and Casino Control Commission regulations.
- Must possess a valid Casino Employee Registration or be eligible to obtain the credential from the NJ Division of Gaming Enforcement.
