Job Description

- Perform QC testing in accordance with approved procedures.
- Ownership of incoming inspection processes, procedures and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of test results.
- Review of raw material testing requirements and establishing testing plans in accordance with SUD processes.
- Trending and data analysis of incoming process data.
- Working within a warehouse and Cleanroom environment.
- Manage assigned responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Documentation System.
- Assist quality investigations.
- Working with SQE to facilitate supplier reviews, returns and investigations.
- Support the non-conforming process for raw materials received from SUD sites and external suppliers.
- Supporting inventory team for review and disposal of expired and reject materials.
- Reviewing of controlled documentation for GMP and testing compliance.
- Support the continuous improvement program to drive quality, safety and process improvements.
- Perform laboratory duties as required including environmental monitoring.
- Manage and review QC status changes in Oracle ERP system.
- Ensure consumable stock of QC materials is maintained.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Quality representative at the Benton Lane facility.
- Science related GCSEs or equivalent
- Experience of working in a laboratory or cleanroom environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent team work and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage priorities and work to set timeframes
- Excellent IT skills
- Willingness to learn and drive process improvements

POSITION SUMMARY
This QC Technician role will be primarily based at the Thermo Fisher Scientific Benton Lane facility, reporting into QC Supervisor.
The QC Technician will play an integral role in the incoming inspection and testing of raw materials of raw materials and components for the production of BioProcess Containers. Supplier Quality Technician II personnel are required to follow Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instruction Documents and technical drawings and specifications as they relate to raw materials and components. Ownership of Non-conforming material process including the raw Material Review Board. Work directly with Warehouse on incoming goods processes and Supplier Engineering team on supplier investigations.
This position requires following cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and working in a fast-paced team environment.
