      Job Description:

      As a Lead Technology Recruiter at Discover you'll play an important role in helping the business achieve their goals through talent. Our recruiters aligned to the technology business drive the full life cycle of hiring, ensuring a great candidate experience and positive and productive hiring manager partnerships, at every step of the process. This recruiter opening will lead recruitment for application development and technology roles at various levels.       What You’ll Do

      • Screen, recruit, interview, and support the hiring of candidates.

      How You’ll Do It

      • Creates effective strategies that will attract target talent; understands and communicates external and internal market drivers using data and experience
      • Drives the end to end recruiting process including screening, interviewing, assessing, and dispositioning candidates.
      • Counsels with the hiring leaders on DEI specific candidate slates and interview representation; crafts creative strategies to deliver DEI talent outcomes.
      • Partners with hiring managers and TA leadership to solution for any market and/or hiring profile challenges.
      • Creates and delivers employment offers consistent with company guidelines.
      • Adheres to all talent acquisition operational processes and delivers an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience.
      • Mentors more junior recruiters on the team.
      • Stays abreast of and knowledgeable about recruiting best practices, employment law, and compliance factors.
      • Participates in various recruiting based projects/initiatives to promote and enhance the overall efficiency of the department.

      Qualifications You’ll Need

      The Basics

      • H.S. Diploma or GED
      • 5+ years of experience in recruiting

      Bonus Points If You Have:

      • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources , Business or related
      • Technology Recruiting Experience focused on hiring Software Engineers
      • Knowledge on immigration best practices
      • Certified Diversity Recruiter (CDR) Certification

      Compensation:

      The base pay for this position generally ranges between $74,000.00 to $124,800.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
