- Drive risk mitigation to ensure throughput accuracy for Business Loss Forecast, Regulatory-driven Stress Tests and Quarterly Allowance throughput, including data and narratives.
- Identify and resolve policy and process gaps by incorporating root cause analysis, control design assessment, and strategic thinking.
- Partner with key stakeholders to build consensus, challenge partners when necessary, and drive for timely completion of requirements.
- Manage time sensitive, critical enterprise or credit risk directives, by applying and executing in an organized and independent manner while receiving direction from leaders.
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and identify opportunities for risk mitigation strategies within Cards Loss Forecasting.
- Review and analyze moderately complex processes and projects, business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Review and analyze complex strategies, programs and policies with a direct and significant impact on credit risk appetite and credit risk loss forecasting.
- Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
- Interact with internal and external customers, corporate governance oversight and audit teams.
- Collaborate with line of business to ensure consistent enhancement of risk management oversight.
- Interact with Audit, Legal, external agencies, and regulatory bodies on risk related topics.
- 5+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Proven experience with RCSA, EBCE and IT&V reviews and oversight.
- Proven effective interactions with internal / external audit, governance and regulatory groups.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong control management, project management and/or process development experience.
- Credit risk administration experience is preferred.
- Policy and/or procedure management experience is highly preferred.
- Thoughtful leadership and solution-oriented capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
- Ability to apply strategic thinking and thoughtful leadership toward initiatives and ensure timely completion of objectives.
- Ability to communicate issues, risks, and proposed solutions effectively and concisely, in both written and verbal formats, with senior leaders.
- Ability to work and command successfully within a matrix environment by establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all levels of the organization.
- Problem solving and analytical skills with proven ability to address policy/ procedural gap solutions into executable plans.

About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Risk Analytics Consultant in Consumer Credit Risk as part of Corporate Risk to provide senior credit officers and other business partners with validated and controlled loss forecast throughput via a proactive and forward-looking risk-mitigated model. Specifically, this position will support the Consumer and Small Business Cards Loss Forecasting Controls and Governance architecture, driving the Business Loss Forecast, Regulatory-driven Stress Tests and Quarterly Allowance forecast cycles.
