Come partner with us and combine your great customer service skills with our promise of 'lowest price, highest quality product.'As a Lead Scanner, you'll assist in customer satisfaction by processing Customer transactions of goods and services. You'll help the Front-End Manager with day-to-day operations and perform all services / transactions offered at the register and in the Business Center, as needed. You'll perform all job responsibilities with a sense of ownership and a team approach.We are looking for:- experience in retail / customer service- advanced customer service skillsWhat is the work?Leadership:- May serve as backup to department manager- Serves as the role model for great customer service- Adheres to Front End expectations; coaches Partners as needed- Performs Scanner and Business Center roles as needed- Answers calls and directs Partner and Customer questions to the appropriate Partner or Department- Engages with customers; directs Customer traffic- Troubleshoots and reports any breakdowns of equipment- Handles all Customer, Partner, and sanitation issues in a professional and effective mannerCash Handling / Compliance:- Ensures adequate levels of Cash handling and Business Center office supplies and forms- Researches / resolves Store and till variances- Documents daily paperwork and register readings- Provides registers with loans, pick-ups, and settlement transactions as needed, in compliance with guidelines- Keeps Business Center and Cash handling office organized and clean- Performs all approved Business Center transactions- Complies with all requirements, guidelines, and procedures (e.g., MSB, other governing policies)- Complies with all company security and confidentiality guidelines- Complies with guidelines and policies to perform register and Business Center overridesWhat is your background?- Minimum age 18 (mandatory)- Experience working in a fast-paced, high volume environment- Completion of required job skills training and compliance-related trainingDo you have what it takes to be a fit as a Lead Scanner?- Advanced customer service skills- Strong verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills- Conflict resolution and influencing skills- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks- Ability to work a flexible scheduleCan you...- Function in a fast paced, retail environment, in detailed and precise tasks- Work with Customers, staying attentive to their needs- Constantly* stand, reach at waist, grasp- Occasionally walk, reach overhead, reach at shoulder, reach at knee, reach at floor, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, climb stairs, pivot, twist, push / pull with arms. pinch, and use fine motor movements- Occasionally be exposed to wet (non-weather) conditions, ambient temperature, and loud noise- Safely maneuver around moving mechanical parts- Demonstrate the ability to lift 35 lbs, and manage in excess of 35 lbs*** While there may be exceptions, the measurements noted are generally defined as -- Constantly: 5.5+ hours per 8-hour day; Frequently: 2.5 - 5.5hours per 8-hour day; Occasionally: 0 - 2.5 hours per 8-hour day** It is the responsibility of each individual Partner to never lift beyond their own safe lifting limit. If an item is too heavy to lift, push or pull, and / or carry, the Partner must break the box down into lighter, smaller, more manageable components, or ask for assistance from another Partner or a manager.02-2022
