What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform reviews of contractor-submitted baseline and periodic schedule updates for compliance with specifications and overall reasonableness
- Provide schedule development and updates services for contractors
- Develop and/or review time extension requests
- Assist with development and/or analysis of post-construction delay analyses
- Relate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience
What is Required (Qualifications):
- B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant experience equivalent to this degree
- Significant experience providing schedule development and/or review services on vertical and/or horizontal construction projects
- Highly proficient in Oracle P6 and experienced with Microsoft Project, Phoenix Project Manager, or similar
- Proficiency in reading/understanding construction plans and specifications
- Occasional overnight travel may be required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- P.E. license, Certified Construction Manager, Planning and Scheduling Professional, and/or Project Management Professional certification
- Additional experience in construction management, cost estimating, value engineering, risk management, or claims analysis
- Experience providing training, supervision, proposal development, and business development
