Job summary
The Lead Sonographer position is a senior clinical role here at Liverpool's Women's Hospital that involves providing professional leadership and managing the ultrasound service , including supervising/managing staff, developing protocols, and ensuring high-quality patient care and service delivery.
Main duties of the job
The Lead Sonographer will have a hybrid role with clinical and managerial responsibilities. They will be involved in the co-ordination, delivery and development of ultrasound services within national standards at LWH. They will be expected to provide clear clinical leadership for the day to day organisation of the ultrasound service in accordance with professional and departmental protocols and communicate effectively with the wider multidisciplinary teams at LWH.
