Lead Technical Recruiter Power & Utilities- Technical Staffing

Lead Technical Recruiter – Power & Utilities

Location: Willowbrook, IL or Remote
Experience: 3–5 years

We are seeking a driven and experienced Lead Technical Recruiter to join our Utilities group. The ideal candidate has a background in technical staffing and a passion for building strong talent pipelines in the Utilities, Engineering, Construction, Power, Telecommunications, or Oil & Gas industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead recruiting efforts for our Utilities division.

• Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, qualifying, and interviewing candidates for technical positions.

• Interface directly with clients and hiring managers to understand their needs.

• Train and mentor junior recruiters focused on the utilities sector.

Qualifications

✅ 3–5 years of experience in technical staffing, ideally in utilities or related sectors.
✅ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
✅ Outgoing personality and strong interpersonal skills.
✅ Proficiency with desktop applications (MS Office Suite, etc.).
✅ Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Familiarity with various Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
⭐ Strong knowledge of LinkedIn and other sourcing platforms.
⭐ Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment.
Bachelor's degree recommended.
