Monitors patients for safety. Reports suspicion of drug use or other safety concerns immediately to program manager. Conduct drug screens as necessary with the assistance of the outpatient nurse.
Conducts individual, group, and family therapy sessions to educate patients regarding psychological, emotional, or substance use problems.
Demonstrates the ability to actively engage patients in a group setting, fostering group discussions and leading the group in a therapeutic manner.
Actively participates in creating and revising the group programming schedule. Offers tools and resources to conduct group therapy.
Displays heavy involvement in treatment planning for patients. Works with patient to achieve treatment plan goals and accurately documents progress. Demonstrates initiative to revise the treatment plan to create new goals for patients if appropriate.

Master's degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or Rehabilitation Counseling
Previous experience in a chemical dependency outpatient care, with direct experience working with chemical dependency and dual diagnosis patients preferred
Current unencumbered clinical licensure in the state applicable to the facility
CPR and CPI training within 30 days of employment
