Lead Traffic Artist
Quad City Times, 500 E THIRD ST, Davenport, Iowa, United States of America ● Sioux City, IA, USA Req #16836Friday, September 15, 2023Lee Enterprises is seeking a spirited and energetic person to join our team in Davenport as a Lead Traffic Artist. This position involves working at a fast pace in a team environment. The ideal candidates must be creative with a good eye for design, detail oriented, and have excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills. This person will lead and work side by side with a diverse team to complete a workflow that includes print and digital newspaper advertisements, watch daily ad queues in web based software and communicate with sales, outside design teams and support teams to meet deadlines.
Requirements include:
• Two years of relevant work experience as a team leader or an Associate’s/ Bachelor’s degree in graphic design
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and Microsoft Office. HTML experience a plus.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with internal and external customers, as well as coworkers and management.
• Candidates must possess excellent customer service skills
The hours are full-time. A flexible schedule is required during normal operational hours. This can be a hybrid position, but selected candidate will need to be able to work out of our Sioux City or Quad Cities, Iowa office.Why Join Us?
