- Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Engineering, Sciences, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis.
- 6 years of industry experience in a Data Science role using statistics and machine learning to solve product or business problems.
- Experience in SQL and Python programming, including the application of machine learning or statistical libraries.
- Experience in a leadership role.
- Lead the team that focuses on evolving YouTube's approach to external regulatory reports, including transparency reports, audits, risk assessments, and action plans, starting with trust and safety data and expanding to other regulatory data.
- Develop and implement a scaled data strategy for regulatory reporting.
- Understand the regulatory data landscape, identify opportunities, and improve data pipelines for reporting.
- Analyze workflows, identify pain points, and develop streamlined, efficient, and accurate processes.
- Propose and evaluate models and metrics for regulatory reporting; develop work plans and OKRs.
- Manage project timelines and coordinate across teams to ensure timely delivery of data products and solutions.
- Lead the team delivering data for global transparency reporting and develop an evolving reporting strategy.
- Understand and improve the regulatory data infrastructure and pipelines.
- Analyze workflows, identify inefficiencies, and develop streamlined approaches.
- Propose new models and metrics; develop work plans and OKRs to meet business needs.
- Lead project timelines and coordinate efforts across teams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges depend on role, level, location, skills, experience, and education. The recruiter can provide specific details during hiring.
