      The Learning & Development Coordinator for the University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC) is a full-time, remote employment position reporting to the Learning & Development Training Manager. The Learning & Development Coordinator will support the eLearning & Instructional design team as they work with subject matter experts to develop engaging and effective eLearning resources. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of instructional design, working knowledge of adult learning principles, and a strong interest in learning eLearning technologies and virtual facilitation best practices.

      Duties & Responsibilities:

      • Review and edit developed content for clarity, consistency, instructional integrity, and accessibility, ensuring it meets compliance and quality standards and aligns with the organization's brand and style guidelines.
      • Assist with needs analysis conversations with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives, analyze learning needs and goals, and translate them into effective and engaging eLearning experiences.
      • Participate in project meetings and update team members on new information to ensure project goals, timelines, and deliverables are aligned.
      • Serve as a support to the Instructional Design team in the development and implementation of technology-enhanced instruction and related media.
      • Communicate and collaborate frequently and effectively with various project team members and stakeholders to ensure that objectives are met.
      • Help to edit and organize created storyboards, scripts, and outlines for eLearning modules, incorporating interactive elements, assessments, simulations, and multimedia elements.
      • Learn and practice various eLearning tools to create interactive and visually appealing online courses, modules, and resources as needed, such as Powtoon, Piktochart, Rise, Canva, and more.
      • Assist in the creation and curation of multimedia content, including videos, audio, animations, infographics, and interactive elements, to enhance the learning experience and maintain learner engagement, always ensuring that documents are accessible and ADA-compliant.

      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

      • Basic understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE), and learning theories.
      • Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools such as Powtoon, Rise 360, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms.
      • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Canvas and Workday.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and clarity.
      • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate with subject matter experts and other stakeholders.
      • Experience with multimedia production tools and graphic design software is a plus.
      • Strong project management skills, including prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
      • Problem-solving skills to identify issues in instructional materials and propose effective solutions.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through experience required.
      • Up to 1 year of relevant work experience may be required.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field
      • 3 years of corporate or higher education experience in instructional design and eLearning development, showcasing a portfolio of completed eLearning projects.

      Rate of Pay: $53,039 - $66,299

      Compensation Type: Salary at 1.0 full-time equivalen ce (FTE)

      Grade: 7

      The Rate of Pay Field represents the University of Arizona’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. The University considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and internal equity.

      The Grade Range Minimum, Midpoint, and Maximum Fields listed below represent a full range of career compensation growth over time in this position and grade.
