Manages the administration of Cox University, including the systems that support and interface with Cox U learning management system.
Partners with HR Technology to develop and enhance Cox University learning management system, including systems that interface to include the integration of social and mobile learning technologies.
Manages integration of learning content and course development with learning technology and devices including gaming technology, social media, mobile learning, virtual classroom and other delivery methods.
Participants in industry forums and networks to stay abreast of current and emerging trends in learning technologies.
Collaborates with SHRS colleagues to identify and recommend innovative learning delivery platforms and evaluate the technology implications of implementation and ongoing support.
Manages Tier 1 functional support for Learn@Cox and other learning systems.
Monitors and report on effectiveness and use of learning and social/mobile learning technologies.
Consults with internal customers, cross-functional team members and external vendors to capture agreed-upon business objectives and processes to define system requirements.
Performs research and fact-finding to create business requirements for development of end-user programs, operational procedures and support.
Communicates these processes and their implications to technical and non-technical contributors to ensure that applications accurately meet business users' goals.
Manages and reports on budget and expenses related to learning technology to include preparation of business case objectives in alignment with supply chain for evaluation of vendor selection.
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 4 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years’ experience in a related field
Requires strong knowledge PC desktop packages (preferably Microsoft Office) with strong Excel skills, including a sophisticated knowledge of web-based applications and multimedia / video technologies.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization.
Strong analytic and diagnostic skills, and a data-driven and metrics-driver approach.
Strong reporting and presentation skills as it relates to data analysis and impact on business levers.
Demonstrated experience with rapid e-learning development tools (Articulate, Synthesia, etc.)
Expertise in Usability of Technology for use in design of effective learner experiences.
Demonstrated ability to design and present material using multi-media applications (Mural, Mentimeter, Ponapto, MS Suite, Teams.)
Experience in Project Management, Business Analysis, or Software Implementation desired.
Experience with integration with PeopleSoft LMS.
Experience in functional support for learning management system.
Demonstrated management experience within the training/corporate education field.
Experience in design, development, implementation, and management of an online corporate university.
Flexible and adaptable to work at both strategic and tactical levels and with detailed information.

Compensation
Compensation includes a base salary of $87,200.00 - $130,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.Job Description
The Learning & Development Manager recommends and implements technology solutions in support of the Talent Management & Development learning strategies that drives the achievement of the Cox experience and business goals. Reporting to the Director, Learning & Development / Training, this leader assesses incumbent learning development tools, delivery systems and processes for implementing eLearning and mobile solutions. Works collaboratively with colleagues within SHRS to optimize the use of tools and evaluate emerging technology-based solutions. This role has direct responsibility for management and administration of the PeopleSoft/Taleo learning management system, as well as other platforms including but not limited to QuestionMark, Brain Shark, and strategic vendor partnerships with eLearning content providers. Ensures the quality of the Cox University learner experience by implementing consistent practices for quality assurance and problem resolution. This role partners with the Senior Analyst, Metrics & Reporting to create and access meaningful data relevant to reporting requirements and the evaluation of learning impact on the business. Manages a team of resources focused on learning management operations and administration.
