Job Description

- Work with senior leadership to crystalize strategic and tactical training vision plan including areas of focus, and target impacts and a long-range plan.
- Work with managers and associates at all levels to identify and prioritize internal training needs and develop program development outlines and plans.
- Develop annual training objectives and budgets based internal priorities.
- Identify resource needs and oversee the development of our L&D capability/function.
- Understand the capabilities of the LMS platform (Paylocity) and related technology and serve as a facilitator and evangelist.
- Utilize organizational development and adult learning theory and digital learning best practices to establish content creation guidelines and workflows for course creation using the LMS.
- Develop and coordinate a comprehensive training development for programs and pathways.
- Recruit, train and coach internal content creators. Synthesize and deliver feed back on courses and programs in the form of recommendations.
- Organize learning events to meet the professional development and continuing education needs for all Shawmut employees.
- Continually develop and facilitate new and innovative formal and informal learning opportunities such as workshops, lunch and learns, on demand learning, retreats, certificate programs, book clubs, administrative professional conferences, leadership academies, mentoring programs.
- Support and promote the mission and values of Shawmut and foster a unified and inclusive global culture.
- Collaborates with Corporate Communications to set the direction and develop branding and communications strategies.

Requirements
· Bachelor degree or associate degree in human resources, organizational development, or education.
· Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in learning and development or education setting.
· Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
· Proficiency with e-learning software and learning management systems (LMS).
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
· Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance issues in the manufacturing sector.
· Strong organizational and project management skills.
· A passion for continuous learning and development.
Must be able to travel 20% (domestic and international).
