What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the learning experience design process and course development team to create learner-centric materials
- Collaborate with academic leaders, educators, and subject experts on curriculum and learning resource development
- Design and develop instructional content, including learning objectives, assessments, and activity design
- Build engaging courses in the learning management system while meeting development milestones
- Utilize feedback and performance data for curriculum refinement and effectiveness assessment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Instructional Design certification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in eLearning/instructional resource development
- Proficient in online course development with a focus on accessibility and usability
- Strong collaboration, written, and verbal communication skills
- Basic planning skills and a passion for education
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in online course design for higher education
- Quality Matters Certification
- Familiarity with Federal Section 508 & W3C standards for accessible design techniques
- Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Education, or related field
- 5 years of experience in curriculum and instructional design
