Job Description

- Conduct apartment tours with prospective residents
- Complete leasing documents and collect rental deposits
- Responsible for ensuring the “model” apartments are ready to be shown
- Understanding of lease terms, specifications, and all community policies
- Knowledge of sales and closing techniques
- Knowledge of the current market
- Knowledge of current pricing and amenities that your community has to offer
- Maintain contact with all apartment locator services and local businesses to keep your community relevant and competitive
- Shop local competitor communities
- Develop full knowledge of application information required, screening processes and policies regarding rentals
- Responsible for conducting out-reach marketing at least once per week
- Develop and maintain an on-going resident retention program, encouraging current residents to renew their lease
- Responsible for the organization of all resident and property files
- Handle resident requests and complaints appropriately
- Contribute towards the collection of delinquent rents
- A college degree is helpful but not required
- Leasing experience also helps, but is not required
- Knowledge of RealPage/LRO and One-Site preferred
- Bi-lingual helps
