What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Administer and coordinate all leave of absence and worker's compensation programs for employees
- Ensure regulatory compliance by maintaining accurate documentation and record-keeping of all processes and events
- Evaluate and identify improvement opportunities to enhance workers' compensation and leave of absence programs
- Provide guidance on FMLA, ADA, and related regulations to employees and management
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and implementation of leave policies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Nursing, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in human resources, benefits administration, or leave coordination
- Knowledge and understanding of FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation laws, and leave-related regulations
- Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Tennessee (applies to nursing candidates only)
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with workplace safety programs
- Case Management Certification
- Experience in Occupational Medicine or similar clinic functions
- Litigation management background
- Knowledge of insurance claims processing and case management
