Delivering interactive lectures, workshops, tutorials, and design critiques.
Guiding students through research-led fashion design development (2D and 3D), from concept creation to final execution.
Supporting learning across one or more specialist areas, including:
Fashion Design
Fashion Illustration
Pattern Cutting
CLO3D and Digital Fashion Tools
Materials and Textiles
Fashion Accessories
Encouraging critical thinking, innovation, and cultural awareness within design practice.
Providing constructive feedback aligned with academic standards and programme learning outcomes.
Maintaining engagement with contemporary industry practices to ensure curriculum relevance.
Contributing to a collaborative academic environment in line with institutional values and departmental needs.
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related creative discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
Teaching qualification or postgraduate education is advantageous but not essential.
Minimum 5–10 years of relevant industry and/or academic experience.
Proven professional background in fashion design, concept development, or multidisciplinary creative practice.
Demonstrated expertise in research, illustration, pattern cutting, garment construction, and making.
Experience using digital fashion platforms and AI-assisted creative tools, including CLO3D.
University-level teaching experience is desirable; however, strong industry professionals with mentoring or training experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Strong subject knowledge and understanding of contemporary fashion practice.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to engage and inspire students in a higher education environment.
Fluent English proficiency (minimum B2 level).
Updated professional portfolio demonstrating conceptual strength, technical skill, and design excellence.
Active professional practice within the fashion or creative industries.

The role is suited to industry professionals and educators who bring strong creative expertise, contemporary fashion knowledge, and a passion for teaching within a higher education environment.
Successful candidates will support students’ creative development through research-led design practice, integrating conceptual thinking, technical execution, and industry-relevant methodologies.
