What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct quality and consistency reviews of legal documents for DES programs
- Assist Hearing Officers in creating and processing legally binding documents
- Ensure compliance with Federal and State laws, agency policies, and procedures
- Respond to inquiries and manage communications on behalf of Hearing Officers
- Perform legal research and prepare reports to meet federal and state requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
- Paralegal or Legal Assisting Certification from an accredited university
- Minimum of three years of experience in a related field
- Strong analytical skills to conduct research and interpret data
- Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (oral, written, reading)
- Familiarity with case management systems such as HEAplus, APS, and AZTECS
