What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Type, proofread, format, and edit legal documents and correspondence
- File documents with various government agencies electronically and via courier
- Provide administrative support for visa applications
- Docket/calendar immigration deadlines
- Maintain attorney and client files, both paper and electronic formats
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2+ years of experience in a law firm; 1+ year in Immigration legal department preferred
- Strong word processing and computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail
- High school diploma or GED certification
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of PowerPoint, timekeeping programs, AccuRoute, NetDocs, and INSZoom
- Experience in a professional services organization
