What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain contact with assigned clients from assignment through settlement
- Manage and handle day-to-day work of cases for clients' benefit and attorneys' review
- Prepare all outgoing correspondence and relevant litigation documents for attorney review/signature
- Review incoming documents daily and update client electronic chronology folders
- Schedule and calendar events in the firm's case management software
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of workers' compensation or legal case management experience preferred
- Previous customer service experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional organizational skills to maintain and update client folders
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and attorneys
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Familiarity with legal terminology and processes
- Experience in a fast-paced legal environment
- Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
