What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and adjust legal invoices for compliance and accuracy
- Respond to billing questions and appeals
- Collaborate with team members to control litigation costs and develop efficiencies
- Assist with navigating invoice review process
- Conduct legal research and pull documentation as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree required, Juris Doctor a plus
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in legal invoice auditing and litigation/legal billing practices
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, and Word
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- In-house and insurance/reinsurance experience
- Experience with CounselLink or similar invoice audit software
