Legal Content Editor -- Spanish (Abogado.com)

- Write Spanish language informational content to help Abogado.com users find answers to their legal questions. Topics include family law, criminal law, personal injury, immigration and many other areas of law.
- Edit Spanish language content. Work with your senior editor and our performance teams to improve the content’s performance.
- Work with digital marketing, performance and social media teams to optimize your content. Create tags, keywords and effective headlines.
- Help with editing tasks as needed. This includes sourcing topics, copyediting and revising content.
- Work with editors and colleagues to improve content best practices.
- Spanish language fluency, both written and spoken
- Professional writing and editing experience in the Spanish language
- 3+ years professional writing experience
- Legal practice experience, paralegal experience or experience writing about legal issues highly desired
- Experience writing under tight deadlines
- Excellent Spanish language writing skills
- Ability to communicate in written and spoken English with team members
- Ability to research, write and edit engaging and accurate information for consumers
- Comfort with editor review of your content
- Basic understanding of HTML and SEO
- Understanding of social media tools such as blogs and social networks
- Basic understanding of AI tools for keyword research and content optimization
- Ability to work in an inclusive, multicultural environment that values diversity and relationships
- Video content creation skills a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
- J.D. or paralegal experience highly desired but not required

We are looking for a Legal Content Editor to create, edit, and optimize Spanish language content for Abogado.com, a leading Spanish-language legal information website. Content includes articles, blog posts, videos, and social media content, and may include reviewing or editing the work of other writers. This is a full-time position.

The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states: CA, CO, CT, IL, NV, TX, WA and/or remote. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $57,400 - $106,600. The base compensation range in other locations may vary. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This job posting will close .
