      OVERVIEW

      The Legal Talent Specialist/Coordinator will engage with and serve as a resource to new legal hires, as well as current associates, handling all aspects of the legal staff onboarding process for the U.S. and London. This role is an integral part of the Legal Talent team and will involve regular engagement with attorneys, requiring a comprehensive understanding of Firm policies and procedures, outstanding communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.       RESPONSIBILITIES

      • With oversight from the Legal Talent Manager, executes various onboarding processes for new legal hires;
      • Serves as subject matter expert in the creation of various onboarding portals and ensures system updates are implemented, as needed;
      • Maintains and distributes new hire information via onboarding portals, ensuring accuracy and data integrity across all platforms;
      • Coordinates new hire orientations in the U.S. and London including liaising with relevant internal departments to ensure seamless execution across all functionalities;
      • Shares responsibility in leading one-off orientation sessions for new hires with other members of Legal Talent team;
      • Assists with reviewing and submitting incoming associate expenses and invoices;
      • Supports Legal Talent Manager by helping to field questions and requests from incoming legal hires and prepares support materials, as needed;
      • Develops and maintains proficiency in Firm policies and procedures as they relate to lawyers;
      • Supports miscellaneous Legal Talent ad hoc projects, as needed; and
      • Performs other duties as assigned.

      QUALIFICATIONS

      • Bachelor’s degree;
      • 2+ years of Legal Personnel experience or applicable experience in a service industry firm. Title will be dependent upon substantive work experience;
      • Excellent communication skills and ability to successfully work and interact with attorneys at all levels;
      • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail;
      • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and competing deadlines;
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other legal personnel databases and demonstrate the ability to learn, use and drive developments of various homegrown legal talent and recruiting applications;
      • Superior judgment and ability to deal discreetly with confidential information; and
      • Availability to work additional hours, including business-related travel, as needed.

      This position is located in our New York office, and currently has a hybrid work schedule, but that is subject to change. The hours for this position are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m, Monday through Friday. The estimated salary range for a Legal Talent Specialist is $65,000 to $85,000 plus overtime. The estimated salary range for a Legal Talent Coordinator is $90,000 to $110,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered.
