Job Title: Library Assistant Grade 2 (3.5FTE)

3 full time (2 fixed term until 31 March 2026), 1 part-time (18 hrs)

Working Pattern:

36 hours (full time) Each post will have a set working pattern and will include alternate Saturdays

18 hours (part time) A set working pattern of 2 weekdays per week plus alternate Saturdays

Libraries are currently open 10-6 Monday to Friday and 9-5 Saturday. All positions will require working full days

Location: All roles will require staff to travel to any of Croydon’s Libraries and work in the Archives Research Room to ensure they are open to advertised hours.

Salary: Grade 2 £26,238 to £27,030 (pro rata for 18hrs)
