- Full-time temporary position with a structured Monday to Friday schedule
What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in artifact processing and oversight, including creating inventories and catalog records
- Coordinate the movement of collections from the College of Nursing Museum to the McGoogan Library
- Work with the Archivist to arrange, organize, and preserve manuscript and records materials
- Participate in exhibit preparation, including object selection and content creation
- Facilitate oral history coordination, including scheduling and transcription of interviews
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Museum Studies, Archives, Library Science, History, Public History, Art History, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a museum, library, or archive setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated project management and strategic thinking skills
- Experience with inventorying and processing archival or artifact collections
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with PastPerfect Museum Software, ArchiveSpace, or similar collection management systems
