What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide research assistance to students, faculty, staff, and community members
- Collaborate with faculty to provide targeted resources for students
- Participate in collection development, including purchase recommendations and weeding
- Assist with special projects as assigned
- Develop and teach information literacy workshops and programs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's degree in Information and Library Science from an ALA-accredited school
- Experience providing research assistance using library databases and resources
- Proficiency in MS Office, Canvas learning management system, and PaperCut printing system
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working as an embedded librarian in a learning management system
- Knowledge of virtual research assistance tools and technologies
