What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and uphold the employer's licensing and state regulatory obligations in lending
- Track regular license maintenance requirements and file regulatory reports
- Coordinate license filings for various lending-related licenses
- Assist in developing and maintaining a data-driven Compliance License Management Program
- Communicate effectively with state agencies and internal stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3+ years of direct experience in lending and mortgage licensing
- BA/BS degree or paralegal experience is a plus
- Familiarity with lending regulations and financial services industry best practices
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in the use of Google Suite and Microsoft tools (e.g., Sheets, Docs, etc.)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with the NMLS system
- Experience interpreting and explaining legal and regulatory obligations across multiple disciplines
- Ability to operate with discretion on sensitive matters
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
