Job Description

- Responsible for assurance that the Licensing Onboarding team reviewing new agent setups which includes: completion of an agent onboarding questionnaire, obtaining and reviewing appropriate onboarding documentation (Government Issues ID, AHIP Certification, Continuing Education Credit Transcripts, Carrier Release Letters, and Supporting Documentation pertaining to Background Questions responses), and the verification of State licenses by required lines of business.
- Ensure that a yearly onboarding questionnaire is completed by all agents to support and validate licensing and background information.
- Communication throughout the renewal process and providing custodial assistance to team members and when agent is completing the yearly questionnaire.
- Oversee the creation, maintenance, and termination of individual user profiles accurately within the AgentSync system. Service includes, but is not limited to, validating the data-feed from Workday, verification of NIPR data pull, and authenticating of National Producer Number (NPN) when user is contracted for HPOne.
- Research and register producer licenses in accordance with State regulations.
- Help Validate license and Ready to Sell status of existing producers by state to ensure appointment statuses remains compliant with both HPOne and State guidelines. Validation consists of verification from agency management systems (AgentSync) and State base Department of Insurance web sites to various HPOne Systems.
- Responsible for producer license terminations in accordance with the appropriate state Department of Insurance requirements.
- Ensure that the Licensing Onboarding team are updating agency management systems (AgentSync) accurately to reflect changes in Ready to Sell status. Communicate with all impacted parties regarding changes in Ready to Sell condition.
- Work closely with other supervisors and managers and in-house staff when processing all necessary producer changes, producer contracts, and general inquiries within department time standards. Ensure that all changes made are done accurately and understand the downstream impacts when changes are made in various systems.
- Maintain a working knowledge of state licensing regulations and any changes that occur. Responsible for having a strong knowledge of each system utilized by the department as well as how each of these systems integrate with each other.
- Applicant is also required to understand licensing requirements specific to Health and Life insurance.
- Communicate directly with agents on upcoming carrier re-certifications, AHIP recertifications, and continuing education requirements (CE) are completed within the appropriate allocated time to ensure that agents remain Ready to Sell.

- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 + years of experience in insurance carrier appointment (agent contracting) arena
- Able to lead a successful team in a task driven environment while adhering to strict deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain the necessary attention to detail in a high-volume environment.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote, CRM)
- Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in related field
- Agency Licensing or agency operations experience in Medicare
- Working knowledge of AgentSync, DocuSign, and WebCE
- Knowledge of Medicare health insurance industry, products, compliance, and operations
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, typically in an office environment (constant noise, fluorescent overhead lighting)

The Licensing Onboarding Team Lead will manage the daily workload for a team of Licensing Onboarding team who will provide comprehensive onboarding and administrative technical support to new and existing licensed agents. They will validate, maintain, and update licensing information in appropriate HPOne approved systems and State based systems in accordance with state and federal regulations. They will verify integrity and completeness of agent onboarding questionnaire. The Licensing Onboarding Team Lead will also serve as the liaison between the onboarding team and recruitment.Duties/Responsibilities:
