Job Overview:
Purple Unicorn Enterprises, on behalf of Allstate Insurance Company, one of the nation's leading insurers, is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Life Insurance Specialist to join their growing team. Allstate has built a strong reputation for its customer-first approach, innovative policies, and commitment to financial security.
In this role, you will help clients protect their financial future by offering expert guidance on income replacement solutions, mortgage protection, and life insurance products. You'll work closely with individuals and families to assess their financial needs, educate them on their options, and create customized plans that provide long-term security and peace of mind.
Key Responsibilities:
• Dial at least 60 people per day from our existing book of business to see if they have a need for life insurance
• Assist clients with income replacement strategies to ensure financial stability in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
• Guide clients in protecting their mortgages with tailored life insurance solutions that safeguard their homes.
• Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their financial goals and insurance needs.
• Educate clients on Allstate's comprehensive life insurance products, including term life, whole life, universal life, and annuities.
• Develop personalized financial protection plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Offer investment products such as annuities, mutual funds, and retirement planning solutions to help clients grow and secure their wealth.
• Conduct policy and portfolio reviews to ensure clients have adequate coverage as their life situations evolve.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to generate leads and drive business growth.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, policy changes, investment opportunities, and regulatory requirements.
• Meet or exceed sales targets while contributing to overall agency growth.
Qualifications:
• Life and Health Insurance license required.
• Securities license (Series 6 or Series 7) preferred or willingness to obtain.
• P&C License is preferred, but not mandatory
• Previous experience in insurance sales, financial planning, investment advising, or mortgage protection preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to educate and advise clients effectively.
• Proven experience selling Term Life, Universal Life, and Indexed Universal Life policies.
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and driven to achieve sales targets• Passion for helping individuals and families secure their financial future.
• Hybrid role - This position is primarily remote, with some local travel for client meetings on Long Island and possibly (but less likely) within the 5 boroughs
