What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Create and issue reports of analytical and fiscal data for internal and external customers
- Assist laboratory staff in maintaining electronic records and coordinating document requests
- Incorporate laboratory records and documents into an electronic format
- Maintain and enhance laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and troubleshoot issues
- Serve as a resource to laboratory staff regarding various information management systems
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, computer science, or a related field
- Two years of job-related experience (advanced education may substitute for experience)
- Working knowledge of current industry technology standards and databases
- Ability to prepare and perform data queries and present data in user-defined formats
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with laboratory quality assurance and data processes
- Familiarity with Hach WIMS and LIMS
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
