  Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Independently own and simultaneously drive multiple projects/enhancements related to the LIMS Application.

  • Ability to learn and stay current with the business processes related to the LIMS application

  • Preferred knowledge of Labware programming language or willing to learn.

  • Troubleshoot the LIMS applications, provide technical support and problem solving

  • Ability to discuss and guide the business in creating and implementing their master data for the LIMS application.

  • Ability to lead or support validation activities

  • Ability to gather business requirements to implement changes to the application when required.

  • Ability to support and guide the business in their User acceptance testing of the enhancements and newly released functionalities.

  • Support security standards (antivirus, firewall, patching, two-factor authentication, access)

  • Maintain data integrity, system access & security within policy

  Qualifications:

  Minimum Requirements:

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related technical or Pharmaceutical fields

  • 5+ years of related experience, including at least 3 years of experience working on laboratory systems in a GMP or GLP environment

  • 2+ years of Labware experience in managing enhancements

  • Ability to understand different applications and communicate with both IT and Business

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a lab is highly preferred

  • Experience leading change advisory board meetings

  • Experience with troubleshooting and fixing Labware LIMS configurations

  • Experience with change control and LIMS Application validation

  • Working knowledge of QC laboratory operations highly preferred

  BMS has a diverse occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work.
