  Overview

  Acts as a liaison to all departments which require the services of linen to include scrubs and performs functions related to, but not limited to, customer service, par levels, inventory management, linen injections and linen discards.   Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Experience: Experience in linen distribution or laundry production, preferred.
  • Additional Skills Required: Ability to perform repetitive tasks. Ability to document weight of linen items and quantities by department in a handheld device or designated forms. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; push/pull carts weighing up to 1000 lbs. Ability to work in stressful environment resulting from customer demands. Requires prolonged standing manual dexterity, pushing, pulling, and bending, stretching and stooping.
  • Additional Skills Preferred: Knowledge of hospital care linen/laundry requirements. Ability to use MS Office, Outlook, Excel.
